today was fantastic.

sunshine, belly laughs, finally getting to shoot some stuff [!!!], amazing people, new friendships...

the people here are so incredible. jesus' love is in each one of them & see it in so many ways. there's such compassion in the people on my team; compassion for our crew, compassion for campers, compassion for the world around them. they are precious people & as i watched tears stream down Crowley's face today while she listened to one camper's story i saw jesus in every single one of those drops. the compassion that moves people to tears? i want that. not only does my crew love people but the staff as a whole at spring hill is beautiful. i just played 6 square with some random people & even though im not remotely athletic & messed the whole game up they laughed with me & patted me on the back. i love compassion, i love these people.

tomorrow is more training. yay!!! :]
