community.

i love talking to people. i could sit down & chat for days about peoples lives & where they've come from.
i love relationships & picking people's brains & asking questions that reveal their inner selves.
on top of that i love community; people coming together to love on each other. something that makes it better? community with christ's love in it.

yesterday brennan & i danced in the middle of the auditorium until we were out of breath & our cheeks were flushed. our entire crew then joined us & soon after we were joined by a camper with special needs in a wheelchair...my heart soared as we danced around her; her face lighting up & her hands high in the air....community.

last night my small group shared our struggles & poured loved into one another with hugs, prayer & simple listening ears. as one girl sat in tears because of her burdens, i saw tears in the eyes of another... community.

this morning ariel shared her story. it was beautiful & heart wrenching & full of hope. we then gathered around her, placed hands on her & prayed; thanking God for her life, praying that He would continue to guide her. When we looked up, her eyes were brimming with tears....community.

tonight i sat with two beautiful woman & shared part of my story with them. we talked about God's plan for our lives & the struggles we deal with as young adults striving for His plan. i saw love & compassion & understanding in their eyes.... community.

it's my favorite; that feeling of love, support, understanding, togetherness...i don't want it to ever end.
